性能至上转向体验为王:汽车盛会揭示复古改装新浪潮

Monterey Car Week showcases a shift in automotive focus from extreme horsepower and electric acceleration back to driver engagement and the purity of feel, emphasizing internal combustion engines and the resurgence of restomods. Eccentrica's reimagining of the Lamborghini Diablo, dubbed Titano, exemplifies this trend by blending '90s soul with modern craftsmanship, prioritizing sensory feedback over raw power.

Maurizio Reggiani, former Lamborghini CTO and advisor to Eccentrica, asserts that in this niche segment, the perception of the road, acceleration, braking, and steering by the driver is paramount, rather than easily achievable high horsepower figures. Eccentrica's Titano delivers a more restrained 550 hp, underscoring this philosophy.

In contrast, Bugatti's one-off Brouillard, with its 1,578 hp W16 hybrid powertrain, represents the extreme performance end. However, Bugatti's design director, Frank Heyl, highlights a focus on timelessness and interior craftsmanship, such as the sapphire glass and ruby-bearing instrument cluster, as elements that will retain fascination for future generations, suggesting that enduring design and material quality are the true measures of automotive legacy.
